  9.          This document describes the changes, additions, and bug fixes
  10.          to ProComm version 2.3.

  13.          CHANGES AND ADDITIONS
  14.  
  15.               1)  Command files may now be linked to a dialing
  16.                   directory entry.  Specify the command file to
  17.                   use when entering or revising dial dir entries.
  18.                   If a command file is present the redial
  19.                   procedure will be used to dial.  On CONNECT
  20.                   control is passed to the command file.  When
  21.                   using the call (%C) script command, command
  22.                   files linked to the called entry are ignored.

  24.               2)  A host mode has been implemented.  4 parameters
  25.                   that control the host mode are setable via host
  26.                   mode setup in the setup screen: modem
  27.                   auto answer string, host id string, access
  28.                   password and shell password.  Host mode
  29.                   features: password protected, remote directory,
  30.                   file transfers, DOS shell (don't use direct
  31.                   screen writing programs!), goodbye.  Press
  32.                   ALT-Q to activate host mode.

  34.               3)  A chat mode has been implemented.  It is a
  35.                   simple split screen, with incoming stuff at the
  36.                   top and local stuff at the bottom.  Note that
  37.                   if you are talking to a full duplex system
  38.                   local text will be displayed twice.  Press
  39.                   ALT-O to chat.

  41.               4)  There is now an additional key stroke for
  42.                   sending breaks: ALT-F7.  Use this if the
  43.                   CTRL-BREAK sequence locks up your non-IBM
  44.                   computer.

  46.               5)  Added Kermit server commands SEND and GET.
  47.  
  48.               6)  Large expansion of the ASCII file transfer
  49.                   configurations available.

  51.               7) The file viewing facility has been improved.
  52.  
  53.               8) Added an answerback facility. If set on,
  54.                  ProComm will answer an ENQ (^E) with the
  55.                  contents of keyboard macro ALT-0.  Disabled
  56.                  in ANSI-BBS mode.
